Falcons vs. Saints Odds, Predictions & Best Bets For Monday Night Football

The NFC South takes centre stage on Monday Night Football when the New Orleans Saints host the Atlanta Falcons. Kickoff from the Caesars Superdome is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Falcons (1-2 straight up, 1-2 against the spread) have been given a lift by the return of Michael Penix at quarterback. Atlanta is coming off its best performance of the season, a 35-14 win over Green Bay on Thursday Night Football.

The Saints (1-2 straight up, 2-1 against the spread) are looking to bounce back from a 35-27 loss to the Raiders. Kalshi's pricing points to a New Orleans win at home in the dome, but there are several good reasons to side with the underdog.

Best Bet: Atlanta on the Moneyline (+113)

The Falcons arrive on a short "mini-bye" after beating the Packers on Thursday night, and Bijan Robinson poses a big problem for New Orleans on the ground. He rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns in that win at Green Bay.

Atlanta thrives on a run-first approach, averaging 173 rushing yards per game, second only to the Bears (196.3). That is a serious mismatch against a Saints defence that ranks 26th against the run, allowing 128.7 yards per game.

The injury list makes it worse for New Orleans. Linebackers Anfernee Jennings (knee) and Kaden Elliss (calf) have been ruled out, Pete Werner (neck) may not play, and edge rusher Carl Granderson (ankle) is also banged up.

With Penix back and a Saints pass rush that may be short-handed, Atlanta can move the ball through the air too. Drake London benefited most from his quarterback's return, piling up 194 receiving yards on nine catches against Green Bay.

New Orleans quarterback Tyler Shough runs the NFL's fourth-ranked passing attack at 281.3 yards per game, and Chris Olave is his top target with a team-high 375 receiving yards through three games. Running back Travis Etienne (hamstring) is out, so veteran Alvin Kamara should carry the load, and the Saints are likely to do most of their damage through the air.

Atlanta is chasing a third straight win over New Orleans and catches an injury-hit Saints team at the right time. The best bet is the Falcons to win outright on the moneyline at plus-money odds.

Best Falcons vs. Saints Player Prop

Bijan Robinson 90+ Rushing Yards (+108)

Robinson has had plenty of success against New Orleans in recent years. The former Texas star has 632 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns in five career games against the Saints.

This season he ranks second in the NFL at 116.3 rushing yards per game. With so many injuries on the Saints' defence, they will struggle to contain one of the league's best running backs.

The target here is at least 90 yards, but bettors looking for bigger payouts can "ladder" up to 100 yards (+150) and 110 yards (+213). His ceiling is very high on Monday night given each team's strengths and the Saints' injuries.
